Commuting to Grand Central via Metro North:
- Rye to Grand Central Terminal: There is a 39 min express train, but most trains during busy commuting times are a little over 40 Minutes.
- Parking at the Rye Station: Parking at the train station in Rye is difficult. Many will tell you the waiting list is “10 years”, but some have gotten a spot after three years for general parking at the train station. Sometimes spots will open up throughout the year in the Highland/Cedar lots – you must sign up for email updates related to parking on the Rye town website. You will receive emails notifying you of spot openings, you would apply online at a specified date and it is first come first serve, i.e. whoever can type the fastest.
